Method
Peanut Butter Donuts
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, peanut butter, vanilla, eggs and buttermilk.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix to combine, dough will be slightly soft and sticky.
Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface and knead a few times. Pat or roll dough to ½” thick and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
Assembly Method
Preheat Wesson Vegetable Oil to 375°F.
Using a 3 ½” donut cutter with hole in center, cut donuts. One or two at a time lower donut(s) into oil with a slotted spatula or skimmer. Fry donuts for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden. Remove from oil and place on paper towel lined rack over a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining donuts. Allow to cool completely.
To finish, whisk together glaze ingredients and dip tops of donuts into glaze.
