Fresh and full of flavor, blistered cherry tomatoes are combined with garlic, anchovy filets, and parmesan to create a simple yet elevated dish that will make date night special.   • Ingredients

    Date Night Pasta
    Dry Spaghetti 1/2 pound.
    Wesson Canola Oil 3 tbsp.
    Canned Anchovy Filets in Oil, chopped 4 .
    Garlic Cloves, sliced thin 4 .
    Dry Chili Flakes 1/2 tsp.
    Parsley, rough chopped 3/4 cup.
    Canned Cherry Tomatoes 1 14 oz can.
    Parmesan Cheese, grated 1/2 cup.


    Pasta Sauce

    Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain and toss with oil, and set aside.

    Heat a large non-stick pan over medium high heat. Add Wesson Canola Oil, anchovies, and garlic. Cook for 10-20 seconds until garlic just begins to turn golden brown.

    Add chili flakes and parsley to the pan. Be careful as pan will spit and sputter when the parsley is added. Cook for 30 seconds until parsley wilted and begins to fry. Add canned cherry tomatoes, breaking up large tomatoes with a pair of tongs. Simmer for one minute.

    Assembly Method
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain and toss with oil, and set aside. Add cooked spaghetti and toss with the sauce. Cook until sauce comes back to a simmer. Divide pasta between bowls and garnish with fresh parmesan.
    Use canned or fresh diced tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes
